How to connect SSH
It's only recommended that you connect to your package via SSH if you're familiar with the command-line interface. Here is how to connect using two-factor authentication (2FA).
Windows
1. Download and Install PuTTY- Go to PuTTY's website and download the PuTTY installer.
- Install PuTTY on your computer.
- Download the Google Authenticator app on your phone (available for iOS and Android).
- Log in to your hosting account at cp.O2OHost.in.
- Go to Manage Hosting and select the package you need SSH access for.
- Click on SSH Access under the Security section.
- Set an SSH password and note it down.
- Click Set up Authenticator and scan the QR code with the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
- Wait 30 minutes before connecting.
- Open PuTTY.
- In the Host Name field, enter ssh.stackcp.com.
- Click Open to start the connection.
- When prompted for a login, enter your domain (e.g., example.co.uk).
- The system will ask for a verification code. Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone and enter the code it shows.
- Enter the SSH password you set earlier.
You should now be connected to your SSH server with two-factor authentication enabled!
